 The girls are at their dad's and had a beauty day with his girlfriend. I got these pictures and just thought, "Wow! Such beauties!"

Charlotte sent me this picture and wrote, "I miss you!" Such big words from my tough cookie. I loved it!!! (and now I switched phones and don't have the message any more, but will obviously stay in my brain.)

Last day of School

Walking to the last day of school I love my morning walks with the girls :)

Charlotte's end of primary pizza and pool party

I let them sit alone to eat dinner so they could chat and gossip. She is growing up so quickly;

This has been such a weird school year. I am so proud of C and E with how they handled everything.  It was at times emotional for them and for me, but they did all that was asked and more. They really took their own learning in their hands and showed me that they are so capable. I look at the girls and know they are such good people; they are kind and empathetic, helpful (sometimes because they are asked, but often on their own), and in general I really enjoy being with them which makes me look forward to who they will be as adults. I hope as they get older they never doubt how much I love them and am proud of who they are as individuals.

My phone always makes one child blurry. Today it is E. Back to school we go on  May 11th after spending too long at home with home school/learning.

new haircuts to celebrate the end of Year 4 and Year 6. One loved the curls and the other prefers straight.

Happy 9th Birthday Emilie!!

Birthday, birthday, birthday presents. 9 is great!

Grandma calls first thing in the morning to wake Emilie for her birthday.

I love this beautiful 9 year old soooooo much!!!

This year her birthday wasn't quite the same as usual. No party, but we did have home school to celebrate! To finish the day she was lucky to have a double rainbow to remind her how special she is and a disco party and cake to remind her to never stop dancing. I think she had a great day, despite it being so different than usual. Life wouldn't be the same without this amazing human in our lives. Love you Mimi!!
