After 20 years of being friends, I am still so thankful to have such a great friend like you in my life. Thank you for always being there. So glad we got to see each other this weekend. Hopefully we have 20 + years more.

Houston Zoo

Zoo day!
Grandma Helen and I took the girls to the Houston Zoo to check out the animals. I think the monkeys, giraffes, elephants, lion (emilie) and fish (charlotte) were everyone's favorites. The jelly fish were amazing  and we saw a huge green eel. Afterward we came home and took a 3 hour nap which made mommy very happy (as I took a 3 hour nap as well).

First Haircut in a Salon

Took the girls to get a real haircut for the first time. I really just wanted them to trim the girls hair as Emilie had her bangs in her face and Charlotte needed the curls cleaned up a bit. They both did a great job! They were really proud of themselves.

Chuck E Cheese

 Today was our first experience at Chuck E Cheese and the girls loved it! We arrived shortly after they opened on a weekday and NOONE was there except maybe 1 other little kid. Perfect! We ended up with so many tickets and were able to get some really cool prizes at the end. The best part was that we had free reign of the place and I didn't have to stress about all the big kids running over my kids or if I couldn't find one of them. Great day! As we left Charlotte kept talking about it so I think we will have to visit this place again before we head home.
