Baby Talk

Here is Charlotte with her cousin Leonie, who is 3 months older. This is apparently an A-B conversation. I have no idea what is being said, but they seem to communicate well together.

Time for the big girl chair

As you all know, we don't have the most room in our apartment so we skipped the giant high chairs for this travel high chair. Here is C Bear all set up in her big girl chair. It is crazy how fast she is changing.

we bought C a walker yesterday, the Chicco DJ, and here she is for her first try (out of the store). the video is a little shaky though as I am not the best cameraman in the world.

Solids

We started some carrots today, but Charlotte wasn't too sure what was going on. Needless to say, more ended up around her mouth than actually in her mouth. It was really funny. Hopefully tomorrow we'll have more luck.

First trip to the Hospital

This weekend was the first time that C had a fever aside from her vaccinations. We waited it out since Friday to see if it would go away, hoping that it was just some teething issue. By Sunday evening it was still there and we started to think it might be something more so we went to the pediatric hospital to get things checked out. After 3 hours and everything checking out clean we went home still not knowing the true reason as to why she had a fever. Other than that she was our adorable little bear, no cold symptoms, no ear infection, etc.. Who knows! Thankfully this morning we took her temperature and it was back to normal. Hopefully it stays this way.

Here are some recent pics of our little Charlotte Bear. She is a whopping 19 lbs now and bigger than most babies that we know. She hasn't started solids yet but we can tell she really wants to. So we are thinking that within the next month we will work on that. Also, she is still completely breastfed, but everytime I pass the formula aisle it is getting more and more tempting to want to buy it. Mostly for at night so she can sleep through the night. We still haven't hit that wonderful period but we know one day it is coming. I hope!

Hey fellas. I'm just chillin on my playmat. I love rolling over now, especially when mommy walks away and least expects it. I've gotten so quiet that mommy doesn't even hear when I do it. Impressive! Next adventure...crawling without mommy hearing. Shhh!

So...today I was at the park with a friend and our two babies when an elderly woman came by to "admire" our babies. She asked if Charlotte was a boy and when I said no, she is a girl, the woman then when on to tell me how she looks so much like a boy, etc.. First off, I didnt ask her opinion and second, why would you keep insisting someone's baby looks like the opposite sex when they have just told you the right one!?! I am a little upset because obviously I think my C Bear is the cutest thing ever. And she TOTALLY looks like a girl. Do I have mommy eyes or something???
