Vonnas

Raoul and I booked a one night get away to Vonnas, France. Such a cute little village within a town. 5 star chef George Blanc was there and stopped by the table to say thank you for coming and the decoration and food were great. We enjoyed a spa and massages too. Only negative is that my phone alarm didn't go off this morning and we missed the breakfast included in the stay. I love a hotel breakfast. next time we'll have to set double alarms.

Return from Texas

We just had one of our longest returns from Houston. We arrive in Munich to find our flight delayed, no problem as it is only 30 minutes. We then board the plane and sit closed up for another hour and a half to 2 hours, first because of deicing, then air space in Geneva with our allocated time slot. Lastly, they cancel our flight but leave us sitting there as ground crew was changing and noone could bring the stairs to the plane. The airline couldn't offer a flight until the next day or we could collect our bags and take the train. The girls were supposed to go their dad's so we wanted to get home as soon as possible. After struggles with collecting our luggage we finally were able to take the trains home. 4 trains later and we got here at midnight. Over 24 hours of travel later and we finally arrived with Nelly Cat. Here are some of our pictures and a happy cat picture.

Christmas

some presents that the girls had been wanting were finally gifted this year: both recieved iphones and C got her 2nd hole in her ears. Documenting this so the kids can be reminded of how cool I am when they forget.🤣

Many days of Christmas

We went to Texas for Christmas so to avoid packing all the big stuff that was just coming back, I started giving a gift a week to the girls. I must say, it isn't as magical doing it this way. Texas was great. We didn't have much time, but we got to see everyone and celebrate the spirit many times. Most importantly we got to see Grandma Helen again and we saw Michelle's family before they moved to Singapore. The girls were totally spoiled by all the love and presents.
