Mimi is 5!! E has been talking about her birthday since I don't know how long. The day is finally here when E turned 5! We opened presents, played, then partied with some dear sweet friends and finished at the restaurant of choice:Buffalo Grill.
It is hard to believe how grown up Emilie is becoming. It is easy to think of her as being little since she is the littlest of the two, but she is so much more than a little sister. She is kind and sweet. Emilie is thoughtful and will always share the last of anything with you. She doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings and is a people pleaser (well, at least a sister and family pleaser). She does what others want a lot of the times and I am trying to get her to see that what she wants is important too. Maybe that is what it is like being a little sister. Emilie gives the biggest and tightest and best hugs and never is shy when showing you how much she loves you. Family means so much to her. She is constantly reminding us of who her family is and making sure she understands her place and others in the picture (Nelly is never forgotten). Emilie loves princesses, especially Elsa and Anna and anything that her sister has.
Emilie: It is so wonderful to watch you grow. You are funny and sweet and melt my heart constantly. I am so thankful to have you in our life and to be your mom. Happy 5th Birthday sweet Mimi! I love you so much!
