Swim Lessons

We started Charlotte in swim lessons since both of our parents have swimming pools (and we hope to have one one day). Not so sure how she felt about it all. :)

Charlotte and Her Independence

Charlotte has started to eat all by herself. Obviously she can't manage a spoon or fork yet, but she'll get there. She has progressed past the purees and eats her plate of finger foods. She still has no teeth, but that doesn't stop her. She is growing up so fast!

Charlotte at the Beach, Miami

Our friend Macky took some of the best pictures of Charlotte at the beach while we were in town. We love them!! Thank you soo much! If anyone ever needs a photographer, I highly recommend her!

B I G 3 0!!

Well, another year down and hopefully many more to come! My beautiful sisters, Ashley and Michelle came over to visit us for my birthday and it was so nice seeing them. It was great to have them here to really get to know Charlotte and Alex. We did a little shopping (they did a lot) and then we went to the Alps and skiied for a bit. They had never been before but did so great out there. Hopefully the bug has bitten them and they will want to come back again soon. Thanks for making it a special year!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Again we are a little late with the wishes, but we do hope everyone has a great new year ahead. Here are a few pics of little C out in Miami. We only were able to stay there for a few days, but it was great timing. We were able to see some friends we haven't seen in almost two years and finally introduced C to the lovely place her mom and dad used to call home. We so miss the weather!! We are definitely looking to go back again sooner rather than later.
Here is a photo of Charlotte at 3 in the morning on New Year's Eve. She was great! She slept through the whole party until 1 and then decided she was refreshed and ready to boogie some more.
Jenny and Kari were so sweet and drove down from Melbourne to hang out with us. Here we are on Lincoln Road. It was so nice to be in shorts and sûndresses!

C at the playground. She was having a blast with the other kids. (well, really watching them as they ran around, but she still had fun)

And finally she is at the beach! She LOVED the sand. She ended up with huge mouthfuls of the stuff and who are we to deny her of that :) It was great seeing her in action playing with the sand and chasing the seagulls. We definitely need to make this trip again soon!

Merry Christmas (a little late)

Merry Christmas everyone!! Sorry we are a bit late, but we have been in Texas spending a wonderful time with friends and family. We hope everyone had a great holiday season this year. We had a little drama getting Alex over to Houston for Charlotte's first Christmas, but thankfully all worked out in the end, whew! C loved the cats at my mom's house and has changed so much in our 3 week vacation. She definitely misses all the family and can't wait to get back soon to see everyone. Love ya'll!
