Mallorca continued

Mallorca April 2022

Easter break and we all went to Mallorca for the first week of it. I love it there! The weather was a bit windy so we didn't swim like we all had hoped we would, but none the less we were at the beach every single day. Flying kites. Building sandcastles. Napping (me). Reading (girls). Picnic (all of us). We tried to eat at home a bit more this time to save money and I think we were all a lot happier doing that. We still got to try some twpical Mallorcan food like empenadas and croquettas, but we enjoyed it all in our pyjamas. :) We discovered the Caves in Campanet and tried a new restaurant that made a delicious paella for us. I got to practice my Spanish a bit, but still realise that it will be awhile before I can have a real conversation with the neighbors; she still talks so fast. One day though. We did visit the international school by the house and the owner was so nice, even offering us a head of lettuce from their garden. I can definitely see myself working there in 7 or 8 years from now. :)
