Charlotte's confirmation weekend

we have been so blessed with family and this weekend we had Grandma Mary, Aunt Ashley and Kurt stay with us for Charlotte's confirmation. Aunt Ashley was asked to be Charlotte's sponsor, someone who guides her in this next part of life. Here are some of the pictures from her day. Just seeing her up there, brought tears to my eyes. I am so incredibly proud of her and cannot wait to see what her future holds. I need to get my emotions in check before graduations and weddings start happening. Haha! This weekend also marked the first time that all of Alex's family and mine came together for the girls. we ate lunch together and really made the day about C. It was great, although stressful for many (mainly me, probably), but was a needed step so neither girl ever has to feel like they can invite one side and not the other.I definitely don'twant to miss out on any big day for them. We are all here supporting the girls as they are so loved. I hope they both never forget that.

Here are some pictures of the many celebrations for Emilie. she had a sleepover with 2 friends too but sadly I only got a picture of all the pancakes they made.
